It keeps getting better and better

That was 8 to 9 days ago, and now it's time for a new update.

School is now being da-bomb for me. English IV, it's going all right. Economics, still on the run with a good grade. Consumer Math, better than ever. I don't remember if I told you, but Consumer Math gives you the opportunity to work in the school store, and I worked in there Wednesday. I'll be working in there again on Monday, because that's my schedule. Oracle Programming is going good. Dr. Wallace has finally figured out a time for the Chess Club. He's going to be forming it next Thursday, and I hope to join. I'm a Chess player, to those of you who didn't know.

Even though things are good in school, sometimes things can go awry. Last Friday, we had a pep rally, and it was fun, despite my throat throbbed. At the end, I saw a girl who I don't get along well with (well, vice versa. She doens't get along with me). Apparently, our arms were just a few inches from touching, and I warned her they were about to touch. Then, she took off running, yelling, "Get away from me!" That hurt my feelings a bit, but I stood it.

Also, earlier this week, I had such a long day at school, that I literally fell asleep on the bus! A girl had to scream loud just to wake me up. I was so tired and everything, I wasn't feeling too good. But, I overcame it.

The Homecoming Dance is inching closer and closer. It is Saturday now, so we are just 4 weeks away from the big dance. I spoke to Nikki over the phone earlier this evening, and she is getting really excited for the Homecoming Dance. I'm sure a few of my friends at school would die to meet her. Now last year, my date was Kim. This year, she can't come because her Homecoming Dance is the same date, and that's a bit depressing. But, it'll be all right. Nikki was anxious to go ever since I told her of last year's Homecoming Dance before my surgery.

Also, 3 weeks from now is going to be pretty exciting. Thanks to the courtesy of my "Zee-happy" mother, I am getting a school ring. It'll be silver, with a red jewel, Drama face, initials engraved inside, and should be pretty exciting. Most of my friends have a school ring, so I'm about to join the gang.

Also, I'm pretty excited for next weekend. Not this weekend but the next as far as I know, DragonCon will be in town. I am so set for it, I'm excited to see Bruce again (I'm sure my mother will be, too), and I'm getting excited to meet the Weasley twins. Once my mom gets that pic done, I'll see to it that she posts that pictures, maybe all of them if at all possible. It is so exciting.
